Going Global with Ms. Freehill
Why do people use the expression, busy as a bee. Well, bees have a lot of work to do in order to pollinate plants to grow food. I want you to meet my friend Zinger. Zinger will be joining me on my trip to Morocco. Since it will be spring in Morocco in March, Zinger will be busy pollinating lots of flowers and learning all about the culture, environment, and lifestyles of the Morocco Look for her in my photos and see if you can find her. I choose Zinger as my mascot because without bees, our planet will not have enough food to eat. Bees are an important pollinator. Many of the foods you love to eat are pollinated by bees. Many varieties of bees are at risk due to their hives dying out. Click on the highlighted words for more information on the importance of bees. We all need to become stewards of our Earth.
